Group Volunteering

We welcome volunteer groups here at FeedNC! 

From four (4) to approximately 24 volunteers, FeedNC has volunteer opportunities for you and your teammates to help FeedNC take care of our LKN area neighbors in need of a hand up, not a handout! 

The following is a list of possible Group Volunteer Opportunities:

Donoghue's Open Door: in FeedNC's community dining space, you and your team will prepare and serve food under the direction of Chef Paolo, as well as serve our guests.

Available Shift Times: Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm OR 1 pm to 4 pm

Grassroots Grocery: at FeedNC's food pantry, you and your team may help with stocking shelves, assisting our members to ensure a wonderful shopping experience, and helping them load their groceries into their vehicles.

Available Shift Times: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 1 pm OR Tuesday through Friday, 12 pm to 4 pm.

Food Sorting/Receiving Donations in the Warehouse: In the Warehouse that supports the entire operation, you and your team may help out with receiving and processing food donations, setting up the grocery store, and cleaning up. 

Special Project: as determined by FeedNC's Operations Team

Available Shift Times: Monday through Friday - shift times TBD, usually lasting from two (2) to four (4) hours in length. 

To accommodate large groups, we may fill one or several different volunteer opportunities in one shift. Our Volunteer Management team will retain the right to assign you and your team wherever we need you all! Whatever it takes to move FeedNC's mission forward!
